4 1 DAY TRAINING : TIME : 10 am to 6pm VENUE: Selvi Scans SCHOOL Mylapore,Chennai,India DAY: Friday abdomen course & Saturday adult echocardiography course 4 Month: first two weeks (1st& 2ndFriday abdomen & 1stand 2ndSaturday adult echo) of every month 2ndtwo weeks doctor madam is coaching in other states and countries
5 1 DAY TRAINING FEATURES FOR ADULT ECHO: Number of Doctors : 10 doctors per batch 10-11 am: lecture on knobology (operating the machine) & adult echocardiography views 11am -12 noon- handson: teaching views of echocardiography,with 3 ultrasound machines & 3-4 4 doctors per machine 12 noon to 1pm-lecture on LV systolic & diastolic dysfunction 1-1.30 lunch 1.30 -3 pm hands on teaching diagnosing LV systolic & diastolic dysfunction
6 3-4pm:lecture on valvular stenosis and regurgitations 4-5 pm: hands on teaching technique of finding stenosis and regurgitations-includes little of colour pulsed,continuous wave doppler 5-5.30pm: lecture on echocardiography diagnosis of systemic & pulmonary hypertension, cardiomyopathy, prosthetic valves, 5.30-6pm: final test on hands on , followed by certificate distribution Note: all abnormal cases will be shown through videos and covered in lecture classes Normal echocardiography hands on and minimal abnormalities will be shown to training doctors basic points on colour & doppler will also be taught
7 TRAINING FEATURES ON ADULT ABDOMEN Number of Doctors : 10 doctors per batch 10-11am: lecture on knobology (operating the machine) & abdomen ultrasound views showing on a patient 11am -12 noon- hands on teaching views of abdomen,including RIF(right illiac fossa) scan ultrasound , 3 ultrasound machines & 3-4 doctors per machine will be allocated. 12 noon to 1pm- lecture on liver & gb,biliary tree 1-1.30 lunch 1.30 -3 pm hands on: teaching diagnosing liver, gb & biliary tree abnormalities
8 3-4 pm : lecture on kidneys ,urinary bladder and prostate 4-5pm: hands on teaching kidneys,urinary bladder & prostate abnormalities 5-5.30pm:lecture on pancreas,spleen,gastrointestinal pathologies 5.30-6pm: test on handson , followed by certificate distribution Note; all abnormal cases will be shown through videos and covered in lecture classes Normal male abdomen handson & minimal abnormalities will be shown to training doctors uterus and ovaries will not be covered in this programme
9 Our Objectives; We have scheduled the course in such a way that doctors get theory & practical knowledge of what they desire to learn We want to fullfill the Dream of busy practioners, who wish to learn abdomen ultrasound & adult echocardiography, unfortunately could not pursue due to time constraints. this 1 day course is unimaginable, unbelievable, but fortunate, that our doctor madam has come out with a one stop solution for diagnostic challenges in 1 day
10 FEES STRUCTURE: 15 thousand for each one day course: adult echocardiography/abdomen
