Even if NV opted into IV-E, most support services would not be reimbursable under IV-E Allowable uses of IV-E funds: - Maintenance payments/monthly stipends - reimbursable at 50%. - Program administration (referral to services, preparation for and participation in judicial determinations, placement, case plan development, case management and supervision, recruitment and licensing, rate setting, agency overhead, data collection and reporting) - reimbursable at 50% - Legal representation of participating young people reimbursable at 50% See CB CWPM Q/A Q 30, 31, 32, ABA, NACC, CFP. - Training for all personnel listed in Section 474(a)(3)(B) of the Social Security Act, including public agency staff, court staff, foster parents, relative guardians, nonprofit agency staff, attorneys representing dependents and their parents, and others. Group Discussion If opting into IV-E extended foster care freed up county and state resources that are currently being used for activities that are reimbursable under IV-E, what recommendations do we have for how these resources should be invested to increase the support services available to youth after age 18?
