Scheduling Materials The Program of Studies (POS) is available onlineat Program of Studies - Seneca Valley School District (select 9-12 Course Listing and More tabs). Courses are displayed based on SV pathway. The POS is also available on your gradebook page in portal. Course registration is available through your Seneca Valley portal at SV Portal (svsd.net) (in Gradebook, access course registration at bottom right corner of page). Credits Every class you take at Seneca Valley has a specific credit value. Semester course .5 credit Full year course 1.0 credit Full year course with lab 1.4 credit To earn credit, you must pass the class with a 60% D or higher (final average).

Remember. To graduate from Seneca Valley, you must earn 24 credits. To become a sophomore minimum of 4 earned credits To become a junior minimum of 10 earned credits To become a senior minimum of 16 earned credits

Reminders for the BCAVTS Program If you are interested and entering grade 10, 11, or 12, select your BCAVTS program in your course registration in portal. Complete and submit the online application. This must be submitted in order to be enrolled in the BCAVTS next year. Students may enroll in cyber courses that provide credit towards graduation and are calculated into GPA. Students may be enrolled: Full-time onsite or at home Hybrid (mix of traditional and cyber courses) Cyber courses are shaded in blue in the Program of Studies Note: Some cyber courses require completion of a previous cyber course. Read prerequisites carefully.

Reminders Pay close attention to the descriptions in the Program of Studies. (course numbers, prerequisites, length, grade level). Don t forget to select substitute courses on your portal. Auditions needed: some performing arts courses Most students will register for approximately 7 or 7.4 credits.

Online Registration Window Students enter course selections into the computer from December 17, 2024 through January 16, 2025. Parent signs off in parent portal.
Schedule Changes Course request changes can be submitted through the end of this school year (June 6, 2025) through the guidance office. Current teachers will review student course selections and reach out to parents/students if concerns or questions exist. A drop/add period at the beginning of the next school year is allotted but class space is limited.
