Q-methodology is a unique approach that combines quantitative and qualitative techniques to study subjective experiences. Developed in 1935 by William Stephenson, this method involves sorting statements to represent viewpoints, with a focus on shared perspectives among participants. It has been widely utilized in health-related research to uncover subjective issues and perspectives. The process involves various stages such as Q sorting, statistical analysis, and factor interpretation.
