PROCESSING A SRR ACTIONS: Process a Reenlistment or Extension for a Soldier to Meet a SRR. CONDITIONS: Given AR 601-280, AR 614-200, Student Job Aid, and Joint Travel Regulation. STANDARD: Assist a Soldier by Taking Appropriate Action Regarding a SRR.

PROCESSING A SRR How Do YOU the Counselor Determine to Reenlist or Extend the Soldier? What do YOU the Counselor Look at When Evaluating a SRR?
PROCESSING A SRR Within 30 days of Notification of a SRR, Soldiers Will Be Counseled. Soldiers Within the Reenlistment Eligibility Window and Otherwise Qualified Must Reenlist to Meet the SRR; They May Not Extend. The Career Counselor Will initiate a DA Form 4991 After a Soldier Has Been on Assignment Instructions For More Than 7 days But Not Later Than 45 days From EDAS Transmittal Date and Has Not Taken Action to Meet the SRR for the Assignment.

TRAINING 614-200, Table 4-1, Lists Training Length Requirements. The Required Amount of the SRR Will Be Computed From the Completion Date of the Course. When Soldiers Are Selected to Attend Two or More Successive Courses, the Combined Course Lengths Will Be Added to Obtain the Total SRR.
TRAINING Service-Remaining Obligations for Soldiers Who Recycle for Academic or Disciplinary Reasons, or Who Voluntarily Recycle, Will Be Computed From New Course Completion Date. Extension of Enlistment Will Be Accomplished Under AR 601 280 Prior to Restart of Training.
CANCELLATION OF A SRR Soldiers Who Reenlisted for Option 1 or Extended to Meet a SRR and Who Were Subsequently Deleted Through No Fault Of The Soldier. Effective 1 October 2018 Soldiers Who Reenlisted or Extended for a SRR Have 120 Days From SRR Cancellation To Submit DUFE Request.
