  3. Track Club History/Events Began in 2006 as a running club/track club by a former HS track coach and Rayvin Meikle. In 2009 we became our own entity not affiliated with HS. Only middle school in Gwinnett County with a Track Club (29 middle schools).

  5. Practice Schedule Begins: Tuesday, Jan. 22nd, 2019 Monday - Friday Time: 4:30 6:30, pick up at HS Stadium Track When meets begin (February 23rd) practices are Monday Thursday. **Coaches make call concerning cancelling practice**

  6. Practice Expectations Students must be at practice to compete in meets Pick up time is 6:30pm!! 1sttime after 6:45pm = warning 2ndtime after 6:45pm = one less event in next meet 3rdtime after 6:45pm = does not compete in next meet. ASK FOR HELP!!

  7. MLK Drum Run Monday, January 21st, 2019 http://mlkday5k.com/ $30 registration fee. The track team will pay half. Your child will be registered by Coach Reifsteck once your portion has been received. MLK Drum Run long sleeved t-shirt. Deadline is Friday, January 18th, 2019. Wear any Shiloh clothes to represent.

  8. DUES $225 for new athletes, $140 for returning athletes Due date Jan. 17th2018 (next Parent/Coaches meeting, 6pm) HARD DEADLINE!! Must be cash or money order made out to Shiloh Generals Track Boosters **CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED**

  9. UNIFORMS Students will be fitted at this meeting warm ups and uniforms Make sure you pick correct sizes!!! Back packs are optional - $18 Compression shorts optional - $13 Clothing will not be given until payment has been received.

  11. DOCUMENTATION Contact Information Already Done! If not . Please come up to our computers now and complete form. Parent/Student Contract Supplied at this meeting and on track website. Uniform order form completed today after being sized. **Even returning athletes for t-shirt**

  12. EXPECTATIONS Academic Student Athlete **Must have 1stsemester passing grades** Morning tutoring Maintain passing grades throughout season Discipline no referrals Commitment or effort level.

  13. MEETS Current schedule supplied at this meeting and on track webpage. Transportation by bus drop off at the front loop of SMS 7:00am!! Bus Permission Forms must be completed before boarding bus. This form will be emailed to you before each meet.

Footwear/Clothing Running shoes required Dicks and Phidippides Fleet feet Duluth and Lawrenceville Big Peach Running Club Suwanee Athletes will NOT be allowed to train without proper footwear after first week. Warm clothing for practice. Must have sweats and long sleeves. Please help your child prepare.

  15. Winter Preparation Our athletes MUST prepare for the upcoming season in January. Do not allow your child to come out of shape January 22nd. Focus on endurance and core strength: Run 3-4 miles every other day Do at least 300 sit-ups every other day

  16. Fundraising Raffle Tickets Mandatory 20 tickets - $2 each Handed out at this meeting Due date and drawing, Jan. 17th, 6pm Bake sales volunteer and donate Dates for Spring TBA (please volunteer) World s Finest Chocolates Mandatory two boxes
