What is simulation A simulation acts as the operation of real world processes or systems with the use of models. The model represents the qualities and characteristics of the selected process or system while the simulation represents how the model evolves under different conditions over time.
Advantages of simulation Simulation allows you to explore what if questions and scenarios without having to experiment on the system itself. It helps you to identify problems in material, information and product flows. It helps you to gain insight into which variables are most important to system performance.
Disadvantages of simulation The quality of the analysis depends on the quality of the pattern and the skills of the creator, who requires high level training. It s a time-consuming and expensive process, so should not be used if an analytical method can provide quicker results.
The impact of simulation and why we need it. Simulations can be used to level up performance, devolepa process, improve safety, testing theories, training staff and even for entertainment in video games. Scientifically modeling systems allows a user to gain an awareness into the effects of different conditions and courses of action.
