So what do we need to deliver? A loaded half ring installed into a half cylinder with: connected associated services Low z-support Our half cylinder should be installed inside the support cylinder/wedge for the OB services First test of their service routing around the EC? If we only have one half cylinder: Is it vertical? Horizontal? (need to co-ordinate with OB Do we have to support the zippers? (instead of having the other half cylinder to support it? Questions: Mechanics/Services Do we want ring 1 in a full length L4 half cylinder, or 60 cm prototype? What length do we want for the attached services What about the cooling manifold? Questions: Electrical What tests do we want to run ? G+S? X-talk, Data transmission (Clearly this list is in conjunction with OB) Will we re-cable ring 1 when it arrives at CERN, or will it be tested in the Liverpool in the same cables to be used for any slice test? How do we get from ring 1 in test box, to installed ring 1 in half cylinder Can we connect and reconnect connections to ring 1? If we assemble EC slice in UK, what tests do we want to do before shipping to SR1? (What time will we have to do these tests?) Will Lukasc be working by December?
