The Slovakia Trade Union of Physicians (LOZ) was established on 27th April 1996 and plays a crucial role in advocating for the rights and improving the position of physicians in Slovakia. Led by Chairman MUDr. Peter Visolajsk, LOZ has successfully halted the privatization of state hospitals, increased physicians' salaries, and initiated important healthcare reforms. Department of Health Death Events (BD Rules 1969) Medical Officers are required to certify all deaths and must provide report to the Office/s of the Taupulega (Deputy Registrar), in which they will assist and facilitate the completion of the Death Registration with the family Birth Events Hospitals are not required under the BD Rules 1969 to provide notification of birth to the CR Responsibility and ownership is on the Family i.e. Parents Completion of the Birth & Death Registration is scan/posted through to the National BDM Office (TALO, Apia), to be enter into the National Registration and a certificate is issued Informal cooperation i.e. Data sharing of monthly reports, has successfully contributed towards the capturing of birth/death events Result of CRVS Workshop, 2016 NZ
