Policy making in the 21st century requires robust evidence, impact assessment, and monitoring. Scientific advice must be independent of political interests, bringing together insights from various disciplines for transparent decision-making. This system involves various entities such as ministries, research institutes, universities, and ad-hoc working groups. It emphasizes the importance of linking science with policy-making through reconciling scientific research with national and EU strategies, creating new knowledge, and involving experts in economic policy reforms. The system facilitates direct and indirect links between science and policy by presenting results at conferences, workshops, and preparing professional monographs.
