  1. Smart Refrigerator Tiago Silva A Simple Framework for Designing IoT Products.

Concept The Smart Refridgerator concept is based on a normal storage service, where the refrigerator acts as your storage and the IoT devices monitores inputs and outputs, food levels, refill schedule. Overall, the IoT devices will collect all the data about what s inside the fridge and the user will decide about certain actions to do with it. All this data can be useful to alert the user, for example, when it is time to buy certain foods, if the food is still good (healthy) to eat, if the temperature is adequate for certain types of foods, to auto-buy products (people with disabilities could really benefit from this one).

  4. 2. Sensors Thermal sensor Weight sensor RFID bar sensor close to the refrigerator s door

  5. 3. Connectivity Wi-Fi connection with the server, as we are essencialy at home; Wi-Fi connection with the phone app.

  6. 4. Analytics Collect data from what s inside the fridge, its level, what goes in and what goes out.

  7. 5. Smart Apps Main interface of the product. It allows registering the products that entry the fridge (once you register a product, the same product doesn t need to be registered never again); Could be used to schedule a food delivery
