MY EVERYDAY SOCIAL CIRCLE Suraksha will meet & interact with many people throughout the day. OR She may show preferential affinity towards certain people while avoiding interaction with others around her. How can we help her understand her relationship boundaries in order to stay safe & secure? WHAT CONSTITUTES SURAKSHA S SOCIAL CIRCLE?
WHAT CONSTITUTES MY SOCIAL CIRCLE? I AM SURAKSHA PURPLE IS MY PRIVATE ZONE I sleep alone in my bed After I wake up I visit the bathroom to brush my teeth & have my bath. Individuals allowed within this area ONLY ME I am in my private zone. I can give myself a hug
WHAT CONSTITUTES MY SOCIAL CIRCLE? I AM SURAKSHA BLUE IS MY FAMILY ZONE I spend time Individuals allowed within this area with my parents and play with my siblings. With my parents I visit her close family members. I am with family members I trust. I am in the blue zone. MOTHER FATHER SISTER BROTHER CLOSE RELATIVES I can hug these people as these are people I love & trust.
WHAT CONSTITUTES MY SOCIAL CIRCLE? I AM SURAKSHA GREEN IS MY FRIEND ZONE I play with my friends at school & home. These are people I meet almost everyday. I am with people who make me happy & playful. I am in the green zone. Individuals allowed within this area FRIENDS AT SCHOOL, FRIENDS I PLAY WITH EVERYDAY AT THE PARK I can shake hands or pat these people as they make me feel safe.
WHAT CONSTITUTES MY SOCIAL CIRCLE? I AM SURAKSHA YELLOW IS THE ZONE FOR ACQUAINTANCES I go out with my parents & meet people I don t know very well. But these are people my parents know, but meet rarely. Individuals I see every now and then but don t interact closely with. I am in the yellow zone. Individuals within this area ACQUAINTANCES People I don t know closely. I can wave or shake hands with these people, but not hug, as I don t know them very well.
WHAT CONSTITUTES MY SOCIAL CIRCLE? I AM SURAKSHA ORANGE IS THE ZONE FOR COMMUNITY HELPERS I see the milkman bring milk everyday. I get the package from the courier man I go to go to see my doctor about a vaccination. I am in the orange zone. Individuals within this area COMMUNITY WORKERS - Courier person, postman, milkman, nurse, doctor I can wave at these people, but not touch as I don t know them very well.
WHAT CONSTITUTES MY SOCIAL CIRCLE? I AM SURAKSHA RED IS THE ZONE OF STRANGERS I ride the bus with my parents & see many people ride the bus with me. My parents don t know these people. People I have never met before come under my red zone of relationships. I am in the red zone. Individuals that come under this area STRANGERS - PEOPLE I HAVE NEVER MET I will not interact with these people or touch them as I don t know them at all.
I KNOW MY EVERYDAY SOCIAL CIRCLE ONLY ME Mother Father Sister Brother Close relatives STRANGERS - PEOPLE SHE HAS NEVER MET SURAKSHA will meet & interact with many people throughout the day. But, she knows how to interact & communicate with every individual in a safe & secure manner. COMMUNITY WORKERS - Courier person, postman, milkman, nurse, doctor FRIENDS AT SCHOOL, FRIENDS I PLAY WITH EVERYDAY AT THE PARK ACQUAINTANCES People she doesn t know closely.
