To summarize key concepts of software engineering discussed in the SWEBOK To act as a study guide for the IEEE Associate Software Developer Certification taken in the Software Engineering Senior capstone class Provide software engineering knowledge in a more data-dense and visually appeasing way
Navigating These Slide Decks Between Slide Decks In Each Slide Deck Slide decks of knowledge areas will progress in order of the chapter sections Deck_# indicates the order of that slide in relation to others More important information in the middle of the slide Slide decks for requirements, design, construction, testing, and maintenance respectively should be read in that order for an in- depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle Less important information will be found on the sides of the slide
How are These Slide Decks Separated? Knowledge Areas in the SWEBOK Software Requirements The first two slide help introduce the student to the slide decks and the SWEBOK Software Design Software Construction Software Testing Software Maintenance There are fifteen knowledge areas in the SWEBOK Software Configuration Management Software Engineering Process Software Engineering Models and Methods Software Quality Each knowledge area will receive its own slide deck Software Engineering Professional Practice Software Engineering Economics Computing Foundations Mathematic Foundations Engineering Foundations
