Why? Historic structure -> New topics usually added as new Annex. Difficult for maintenance We have revised standards -> Remove content which is now in the standards -> Adapt rules to the standard (e.g. Replacing-rules for collector in Thermosiphon system) Double content / Risk of contradictory content .. .. 2 Stockholm 2019
Decision in 25th SKN M25.D6: Revision of SK Scheme Rules by chair and manager. It is decided to leave the work on the revision of the new SK Scheme rules to the SKN chairman and management. The general structure is accepted. Fine tuning is possible. Everybody is welcome to provide input until 15. December 2018 by email to andreas.bohren@spf.ch. A working group with Stephan Fischer, S ren Scholz, Henry Rosik, Pedro Dias, Gerard van Amerongen is established to support and advice. Two Webmeetings took place. Lots of input also by email -> All included the best possible. 3 Stockholm 2019

Solar Keymark Scheme Rule -> fall back rule 0. Introductory Note and fall back rule These SOLAR KEYMARK Scheme Rules (including the Annexes as listed in chapter 11) re-place the version SKN_N0106.R31 of March 2018 of the SOLAR KEYMARK Scheme rules. Existing certificates issued under previous versions of the Scheme rules are basically not affected by the new scheme rules, however all new actions on certified products such as surveillance activities, modifications of the product, building families, adding OBL certificates, re-certification etc. shall be conducted as defined in the new SOLAR KEYMARK Scheme rules. If for any reason the revised scheme rules are not applicable or are deemed inappropriate in specific situations, the previous version of the Solar Keymark Scheme rules shall be consulted and applied in agreement with the responsible CB. The CBs, TLs or IBs are then obliged to inform the SOLAR KEYMARK Management about such occurrences to propose appropriate modification of the Scheme rules. The version SKN_N0106.R31 of March 2018 and all its Annexes are kept publicly available on the SKN Webpage. 6 Stockholm 2019
