  2. Kelly used to have enough soldiers to form 7 rows of 11 soldiers. She has since lost 14 toy soldiers. Can she still form 7 rows with an equal number of soldiers in each row?

  3. 7 x 11 = 77 She used to have 77 toy soldiers. 77-14 = 63 She has 63 toy soldiers now. 63=7x9

  5. Rob paid for several boxes of food with 50. Find out how much change there was. 9 7

  6. ? What if he only bought 9 x 9 = 5 x 9 = 45 6 x 9 = 54 This is more than 50 50 - 45 = 5 If he bought 5 boxes, he would get 5 change.

  7. What if he bought only ? 7 x 7 = 7 x 7 = 49 8 x 9 = 56 This is more than 50 50 - 49 = 1 If he bought 7 boxes, he would get 1 change.

  8. What if he bought 3 boxes of and 3 boxes of 7 9 3 x 9 = 27 3 x 7 = 21 27 + 21 = 48 50 - 48 = 2 He would get 2 change.
