PRE BUILT MODEL Challenges There are big challenges for MDM Product companies to offer pre built Models for most common data domains; namely Material , Finance, Vendor, Customer, Business Partner, Reference Data Design and Build of a Basic single data domain can take easily between 5-8 months with many resources on board. The quality of it will depend on quality of resources, which is often ? Rare to find MDM tool developer s with broad knowledge of professional ERP s like SAP, Oracle. (lack of skilled guys who understand ERP (eg.
