  2. Background In this meeting, there are two contributions discussing on the specification issues and common terminology for NR V2X. R4-2003674, Considerations on improving the draft TR and TS for NR V2X (vivo) R4-2003881, NR V2X specification structure for interband concurrent requirements in 38.101-1 (Qualcomm)

  3. Specification structure and common terminology Issue 1-Clause separation and suffix for V2X Option 1:Suffix E for NR V2X including sidelink standalone, con-current operation, and V2X bands. Option 2:Clause suffix E for V2X sidelink standalone requirements and bands, clause suffix Ea for V2X interband concurrent-specific requirements and bands.   4. Issue 2 - General Requirements Proposal 1 General requirements shall apply to V2X communication unless excepted. Consistent with existing 36.101/38.101 spec structure and eliminates multiple single-line references to general requirements

Specification structure and common terminology Issue 3-Notation for NR V2X con-current operation Option 1: EN-V2X_X_nY Option 2: V2X_X_nY Issue 4-Removal of FR2 in TR 38.886 Proposal 1: Remove all the chapter titles including FR2 from TR 38.886 and add a description in TR 38.886 all the requirements apply for FR1. New TR can be created for capturing FR2 requirements for NR V2X in future. Issue 5-Merge co-existence study chapter Proposal 1: Merge Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 as one chapter for co-existence evaluation in TR 38.886. Issue 6-Switch the chapter arrangement for TR 38.886 Proposal 1: Switch the chapter arrangement for Chapter for operating bands and Chapter for coexistence study in TR 38.886.

  6. Specification structure and common terminology Issue 7-Clause title for NR V2X The clause titles are captured in the endorsed draft CRs and TPs for NR V2X as follows: Option 1. XXX for V2X communication Option 2. XXX for V2X Option 3. XXX for NR V2X UE Option 4. XXX for NR V2X Proposal: Align the clause title for TS and TR for NR V2X as for V2X communication .

  7. Specification structure and common terminology Issue 8-Duplex mode for NR SL For the duplex mode, there is a misalignment between TDD and HD for band n47. Option 1:TDD Option 2: HD Proposal 1: Align the duplex mode as HD for NR SL transmission.
