Review Last term we were looking at how to add prefixes to words. How many can you thing of?

Read the following paragraph and see how many /k/ sounds you can find that are spelt with a ch. In the funny story, there was a character who was on his way to school. As he walked under a bridge, he shouted, I hate Chemistry! which produced an echo. A moment later, he fell over and got an ache in his leg, so decided to go to the chemist for a bandage. Finally, he arrived at school to find that the music teacher was teaching a new scheme of work, which involved singing a chorus about the monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.
Now have a go at finding all of this weeks spelling words in the wordsearch. Practise your handwriting by copying this week s spellings on the handwriting sheet.
