God has important work for all His friends. It is the work of telling others about Jesus love. Our bible passage tells us about how God spoke to Paul in a dream, also called vision, asking him to go to Macedonia, a place where he would tell the people about Jesus love. This is mission work. We can tell others about Jesus love within our country-home mission; or outside our mission. INTRODUCTION country-foreign
The greatest work Jesus wants His friends to do is telling sinful children about the love of God (Acts. 1:8). As said earlier, telling other children around or within your country about the Good news of Jesus love is called home mission. Jesus told His friends in Acts. 1:8 to share the message of salvation with their people at home in Jerusalem and Judea. Your own Jerusalem is your country, city or community where you live.
We must tell others about Jesus love because: i. Jesus commands it ii. More people will be brought into His Church iii. Our naughty friends will go to hell fire if we do not tell them about Jesus iv. Our preaching makes Jesus happy
YOU CAN TELL OTHERS ABOUT JESUS LOVE BY: a) Word of mouth b) Giving Magazines tracts and Tenders Life c) Speaking with your friends on the phone d) Living as good example in your neighbourhood and school. As you tell others about Jesus love, He will bless you.
A man from Macedonia told Paul in a dream Come over to Macedonia and help us , ( Acts. 16: 9). Jesus wants you to also tell people who are living in other countries about His love.
You can go over and help others in need of salvation. You can do this by: i. Supporting your father s ministry as a missionary ii. Giving money or gathering material things together for those on mission work iii. Praying for the work of God in other lands As you do all these things, Jesus will be happy with you and bless you.
However, not every child can do the work of God. It is only for friends of Jesus. Are you a friend of Jesus? If not, you can become one today as you say sorry to Jesus and tell him about all the bad things you have done. Ask Him to forgive you and wash your heart clean in His blood. Invite Him to come into your heart to be your Lord and Saviour. Then, He will give you the power to work for Him.
