Reviewing the applications 1stproblem we needed more money! 26 submission Review Committee made up of multi disciplinary faculty, librarians and staff Downloaded the applications and removed all names Each application had two readers Each reader indicated if it was approved for funding or not and comments/concerns about the project

The Bottom Line We were allocated/asked for 2100 hrs to be funded, which was about $126,000. We had 26 applications; we funded 24 of them. 3,000 students (duplicated) would be affected, saving $77,000 per semester.

Summer Pilot 3 participants: German (31.5 hrs) ($97 text) Elementary Education (68 hrs) ($85 text) Decision Science (21 hrs) (new course) 120.5 hrs = $7,230 in stipends ($60/hr) German 1 & 2 student savings = $1,940.00 ECE student savings = $20,400.00 Summer Pilot Total Student Savings = $22,340.00

Original Budget $80,000 for faculty stipends $86,659 for 1 FT One-Year Coordinator $36,000 for 3 student workers $2,500 for supplies = $200,000 *went back and requested $25,000 more to cover proposals we wanted to fund
