  3. Role of the State Director State Director Represent your Chapter on the TSPE State Board Convey accomplishments, issues and ideas from your Chapter to the State Convey information from the State Organization to your Chapter

  4. Roundtable Discussion As State Director, you are a member of the TSPE State Board and represent your chapter at all formal TSPE Board Meetings. You are the sole vote for your chapter in all statewide decisions. Do you have any questions or concerns about how you will fulfill this critical role? What can your Chapter Board or the state organization do to help you prepare and represent your chapter well on the State Board?

  5. Roundtable Discussion As State Director, you are responsible for conveying chapter accomplishments, issues and ideas to the state organization. What are your ideas on how to best accomplish this task?

  6. Roundtable Discussion As State Director, you are also responsible for conveying information from the state organization to the chapter. What are your ideas on how to best accomplished this task?

  7. Roundtable Discussion What are your thoughts on the role of the State Director in recruiting and retaining members? How could the unique knowledge and perspectives of the State Director be leveraged to educate/excite new and prospective members?
