Public Sector Governance Reform and Development Project Project Development Objectives: to improve transparency, accountability and quality in public finance and human resource management systems, with a view to strengthen governance in the participating states. Amount: US$102 Million Closing date: 31 December 2016

Project Components Component 1: Development and Modernization of Public Financial Management Systems include Tax administration Component 2: Human Resource Management Strengthening Component 3: Monitoring and Evaluation System Development Component 4: Improvement of Public Financial Management in Selected States Component 5: Scaling up of Selected Activities Under Original Project Beneficiaries: Anambra, Bauchi, Cross River, Kaduna, Kogi, Ondo

  4. State and Local Government Project PDO: to improve transparency, accountability and quality in public finance management, with a view to strengthening governance in the participating states Amount: 73 million Beneficiaries: Abuja, Cross River, Osun, Yobe, Kano, Jigawa,

  5. 1. Public Financial Management Reform (PFM, procurement, tax administration) 2. Support to Local governments 3. Performance challenge fund and contingencies

State Employment and Expenditure for Results Project PDO - to enhance opportunities for employment and access to socio- economic services while improving the public expenditure management systems in the participating states. Beneficiaries : main beneficiaries of the project are the four state governments with selected ministries, departments and agencies and communities in Bayelsa, Edo, Delta and Rivers states. Amount : US$192.4 Mill.

  7. Project Components: Component A Youth Employment and Access to Socio-Economic services are mainly youths who are unemployed and/or seeking to be trained in vocational and technical courses in order to find jobs or set up on their own, the technical and vocational training institutions themselves and the state ministries of education and agriculture. The PFM component will provide technical assistance to support reforms and capacity building in MDAs that deal with state public finance. These will include offices and staff of Ministries of Budget and/or Economic Planning, Finance, Due Process/Public Procurement, Board of Internal Revenue and State Houses of Assembly.
