Intended outcomes Long Term Improved evidence-informed decision making by Pacific governments, regional and international agencies to improve Pacific people s lives Medium Term Strengthened capability and sustainable capacity of Pacific National Statistics Offices Improved quality and availability of Pacific statistics for tracking progress against key national and regional development priorities
Four main output areas 1.Direct support to realm member countries Cook Is, Niue and Tokelau 2.Pacific Annual Attachment Programme (PAAP) 3.Support Regional Statistics Development Programme 4.Management, M&E & technical advice and support to MFAT on statistical investment in the Pacific

Highlights for 2019-20 Output Area 1: Direct support to realm member countries Cook Is, Niue and Tokelau Stats NZ Senior Design Analyst Mr. Mark Hooper relocated to Samoa and worked with Tokelau NSO for three months to prepare and conduct the 2019 Population Count
Highlights for 2019-20 Output Area 2: Pacific Annual Attachment Programme (PAAP) Attachment by Cook Is statistician - Mr. Tuaine Unuia - to Stats NZ to compile a three decades time series for Cook Is trade statistics (1990-2020)
Highlights for 2019-20 Output Area 3: Support regional statistics development a. Chairmanship to Pacific Statistics Methods Board (PSMB) Mr. Vince Galvin b. Regional Sampling Workshop
