Research Update: Data Accountability Tool Beacon Economics has developed the Data and Accountability tool, a comprehensive resource for analyzing various aspects of industries, occupations, wages, and education providers across Los Angeles County. This powerful tool features five tabs, each offering detailed insights and the ability to track trends within each Service Planning Area (SPA). The data spans at least a decade, and in some cases, up to 20 years. We invite our partners to take advantage of this free tool to gain a deeper understanding of their specific areas within Los Angeles County. Using this tool can help you make informed decisions and stay updated on the latest trends and developments in your region. Please refer to https://lacerf.org/subcommittees-research
Research Update:RegionalReportPt. 1 Revised Regional Plan Part 1 report for the California Jobs First Planning Phase was submitted and sucessfully met the state s requirements for this deliverable. Comments from the State: Excellent review of ongoing processes in Potential Synergies and Collaboration section. The Regional Summary and Labor Market Analysis were both very strong. Including a SWOT for each SPA provided a much clearer picture of sub-regional economies. The breakdown of Collaborative partners constituencies served and locations by SPA was helpful for understanding the scope and spatial distribution of LA s stakeholder engagement.
