  1. NASM Job Board Instructional Guide for Employers

  2. Register Welcome to the NASM Job Board! The first step for an employer is to complete the registration form.

  3. Registration Information First and last name Email address to contact you at Secure password How did you hear about us? Please agree to the terms of use and enter the security code to complete your registration. You will then receive an email confirmation with your login details

  4. Create a New Job Posting Create a new job posting so that job seekers can apply

  5. Select a Category Select the job category you are posting a position for

  6. Select a Plan Select single job posting and click next. All job postings are FREE!

  7. Job Details Provide a job title that will appear in the search results for job seekers to view Describe your job, including any information you want job seekers to know about Describe the skills, knowledge, and experience that is required for a job seeker to do this job Select whether the employment type is an employee, internship, volunteer, or contractor, if the work schedule is full- time, part-time, temporary, or seasonal, and if the position requires any travel

  8. Job Location Provide information on where the position is located. Add an address and a map for directions.

  9. Contact Information Provide the name of the organization Provide the address where the employer wishes to be contacted Provide phone or fax numbers the employer can be contacted at Provide the web site of the organization Select the contact information you want to remain hidden from job seekers

  10. Submit Job Posting The final step is to upload videos, logos, or pictures of the organization. After you have completed this, you have the option to save your job posting as a draft or submit it. Once submitted, your job posting will be activated for job seekers to view. Remember, you always have the option to update your posting at a later date.

  11. Active Jobs You can also observe how many people have viewed your job posting and the number of current applicants there are for the position Job postings run for a standard period of 30 days. However, you can edit, extend, stop, or delete your posting whenever it suits your needs

  12. Search Applicant Profiles For a more advanced search, find applicants based on specific key words and locations Browse general job categories

  13. Search Applicant Profiles Cont. Select the minimum years of experience Select the types of professions you are searching for Select the specialty skills you are looking for in applicants Select which certifications you are looking for in applicants Search for job seekers according to the date of application submission

  14. Applicant Profile Results Once you click the submit button, a list of applicant profiles that match your criteria will populate. Then, you can choose which profiles you would like to take a closer look at.
