Approach Check front & rear Signal right and approach slowly. Side Position 3 (3 feet) from the parking space. Reference point- middle of the right half of the hood
Approach Identify 1 Car Lengths of Available Space stop next to the space, evaluate its size if necessary
Approach Stop when your rear bumper is even with the front vehicles rear bumper. You can use the rear corner post to line up
Backing In Turn wheel all the way to the right. Shift to reverse. Check 360 Back slowly until you see the inside corner (curbside) of the car in back in your left rearview mirror. (continual 360 checks) Stop
Backing In Straighten your wheels and continue to inch back until your right front tire is at the corner of the car in front of the space. Stop and turn the wheels all the way to the left.
Backing In Back until the car is parallel to the curb. Stop Straighten wheels and pull up until centered Stop and secure the vehicle.
Exiting the space- Entering Traffic Back up if you need more space. MSMOG Turn wheel fully left Enter your lane Check rear Cancel signal
