2030 Strategic Plan Priorities and Objectives Crosscutting Tactics Streamline and incorporate Roundtable involvement in working groups to facilitate actionable projects and collaboration Support and identify global projects with regional significance, assist in finding funding sources. Identify ways for GRSB to support member ESG commitments Share membership information between all Roundtables, involve board in membership recruitment Facilitate regional events to share experience Constituency specific discussions to meet their respective needs. Work on an alignment on regenerative ag and on the role of ruminants in a circular systems, supported by scientific data Facilitate an aligned narrative on sensitive topics including deforestation, ensuring key issues are covered as a baseline.

2030 Strategic Plan Priorities and Objectives Priority #1: Set Global Goals for the GRSB network Objective 1.2; Create Goal-specific global action teams (where needed) to collaborate within the GRSB network to support and accelerate progress towards the goals. 2023 Tactics: Ensure WG structures provide clarity and effectiveness on progress Activities Working Groups - actively engage RTs in actions Timing of meetings rotate to suit different time zones. Membership of WGs appointed on both expertise, and representation of members. Small working groups revise ToR and set objectives. Clarify how decision are made. Reporting structure of WG with RTs and Board. Incorporate Ecosystem-based Adaptation / Resilience / regenerative landscapes and ranching. Engage on reporting system; working groups providing support on collecting metrics, and how to streamline for those [regions] with goals that are different than GRSB goals.Q3 Q4

2030 Strategic Plan Priorities and Objectives Priority #1: Set Global Goals for the GRSB network Objective 1.2; Create Goal-specific global action teams (where needed) to collaborate within the GRSB network to support and accelerate progress towards the goals. 2023 Tactic: Foster meaningful incentives for producers and other actors in the value chain to help catalyze action, spur innovation, reward progress, and promote continuous improvement Activities: - Organize meeting with Retail Constituency to check interest in using the Impact Incentives model as a practical solution to reward farmers in risk areas, recognizing their effort in maintaining the forest and implementing Animal Welfare best practices . - Join Impact Alliance (investment 8,500 U$ to enter the Alliance)* - Adapt /Mirror the Deforestation Conversion Free Protocol and Animal Welfare Benchmark (developed for Leather) for Beef, through a WG discussion (Nature Positive and AW WG core group). - Implement First Pilot *(the Impact Incentives (II) initiative can represent an additional income for GRSB, as for each II sold, GRSB gets a % (TBD))

Priority #2: Communicate to ensure that beef is a trusted part of a thriving food system Objective 2: Establish and implement an up-to-date Global Beef Sustainability Communications Strategy and narrative that supports the GRSB Vision for a world where beef is a trusted part of a thriving food system and recognizes existing achievements by member roundtables and companies towards establishing and meeting its global goals. re-invigorate Comms Council with expertise from around the world Determine schedule and execution for Comms Summit (i.e. with GSCB conference or other) There should be an effort on enhancing and improving internal communications within the industry. Provide global resources for RTs and members; create comms hub for sharing resources Communication Kit: with GRSB institutional presentations/ goals presentations / posts for social media on sustainable livestock, etc. Global and country specific data is needed for good communication. Create Resources with global data/metrics, as well as from each country/region where we have roundtables. (i.e https://www.globalfoodjustice.org/resources-1) Latin America regional communication strategy. A joint effort is needed to communicate better the culture, conservation efforts and other areas that characterizes Latin American Livestock.
Communications Communications Collaboration with IICA on Communication. IICA has access to a large network where both organizations can benefit from a joint communication effort. Each country uses different terms when referring to the livestock sector. It s import to check the terminology used when doing different publications in different countries (re-posting). It was suggested to pick ONE SUBJECT per month, and have joint communication efforts among RT s and GRSB to talk about that every month. GRSB to review communications strategy with a focus on internal communications, integrated with all activities. Identify key topics which need addressing GRSB to implement some of the left-field ideas GRSB to develop a reference library and member accessible resource for communications paraphernalia GRSB to be physically present and regularly involved to advocate for beef sustainability goals at the international level.
Priority #3: Support the Roundtable Network Objective 3 (a): Provide targeted support for roundtables, update Global to Local Framework Tactics Establish RT "mentoring" to match new & experienced RTs to connect for learning opportunities Review NRT meeting structure; more interactive, action-based - link into goals progress work. Breakout discussions within RT meetings Fund with a specific focus on regions: Region specific projects funded by members / donors. Innovation Tour: continue on regional basis several countries have expressed interest. Local to Global complementarity; GRSB to co-develop a scope of operations with NRTs, covering respective responsibilities and aid in the development of the value proposition at both levels. Membership: explore complementarity / benefits of being at the local and global Roundtable. Producer engagement share examples of success. Potential new RT s with the proviso that the impetus comes strongly from those countries, not GRSB led. Science advisory position as budget allows, but at least a voluntary committee

Priority #4: Develop an information system to record and report progress on the GRSB Global Goals Regular reports on progress of project on reporting system with Sure Harvest Communicate how RT reporting is to be executed GRSB to develop an information system that allows for optional direct integration or utilisation by the roundtables. GRSB to develop a forum, platform and/or data reference place for all members to access and refer to. Activity Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 Sure Harvest Priority #5: Develop and Strengthen Partnerships to achieve the GRSB Global Goals and Priorities Explore potential partner with members and other stakeholders, particularly with expertise towards advancing objectives of goals Explore projects for GRSB to fund that links to the goals and benefit multiple regions
Partnerships - Possible connections: o FEPALE (Federaci n Panamericana de Lecheria) Panamerican Dairy Federation. o GASL: Improve collaboration with GASL Regional Chapters / FAO local Focal Points o Alianza del Pastizal/BirdLife o Others: partnerships at global and regional level. Once working groups have proposed projects, engage Dr Bradd Witt for potential revenue for ARC GRSB constituencies, industry interest groups, established for direct collaboration towards meeting goals and developing on goals specific to their area of interest. GRSB to engage with WWF and the China Meat Association to work towards mutually beneficial outcomes. GRSB to support expansion and development projects in new and existing African countries and other developing nations
