Takes place prior to New Teacher Orientation 4 designated dates over the summer (given to new employees through Applicant tracking, was done through Google) Designate at least 4 hours Onboarding Checklist Soon to include online paperwork through Applicant Tracking Mandated paperwork completed in person The New Hire Fair HR Components
Technology devices handed out and access completed for all Networks The New Hire Fair Tech Components
System Set-up/ Behind the Scenes Multiple dates for opportunities for new employees to attend Distinguish audience for each session (certified vs. classified) Setting up one-on-one appointments to complete benefits Have employee badges created prior to new teacher orientation Have District Nurse Coordinator there to present all health related trainings, if time permits Info to Ponder Prior to Meetings
Onboarding Google Checklist (Shared with Principals, Tech, and All HR Team Members) Takes place the first week of the Semester Designate at least 2 hours Onboarding Checklist Mandated paperwork completed in person Tech devices given out, along with Network logins and passwords Student Teachers
