The Challenge TASK Streamline Verification, Audit, Assurance and Warranty globally A question was asked globally of all regions conducting diving operations on BP managed and operated worksites (Upstream only) What process do you currently use for project diving assurance? Response: 8 regions and essentially 8 different answers 2
How to achieve this 1. Define assurance 2. Develop the global process 3. Educate Diving contractors to our expectations, UDP and the Policy Statements 4. Educate the BP Regional Diving Responsible Person, Technical Authorities and Client Approved Representatives to our expectations 5. Restructure the Global Team. 3
Definition of Quality Assurance Quality Assurance is defined as "a planned and systematic pattern of all actions necessary to provide adequate confidence that an item or product conforms to established technical requirements" (IEEE Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 4
