  2. INTRODUCTION DR. FRANK TIANO DR. MARC LAQUERRE TWO GUEST SPEAKERS CAME TO CLASS TO TELL US ABOUT THEIR POSITIONS AT THEIR SCHOOL DISTRICTS. THEY WERE VERY IMFORMATIVE AND ANSWERED EVERY QUESTION WE HAD TO THE BEST OF THEIR KNOWLEDGE. THESE TWO MEN WERE FROM DIFFERENT SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND WERE IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS SO WE WERE ABLE TO GET TWO DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF WHAT GOES ON BEHIND THE SCENE OF THE SCHOOL. ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR THE FRAMINGHAM SCHOOL DISTRICT. A CLINICAL CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHOLOGIST IN MASHUA, NH.   3. mage result for COMMITMENT Effectively get a teacher to use a respectful tone when communicating with other colleagues, or parents/families- Modeling, if you are with a colleague you need to set an example make sure you are always respectful and show them how they should be speaking to one another even if you are upset, etc. Lay down expectations make sure that expectations are known. Being able to speak to your teachers about the way they approach students and communicating with them. DR. FRANK TIANO COMMITMENT FRANK TIANO MARC LAQUERRE DAY TO DAY IS OPERATIONAL AND WORKS INSIDE LOOKING MORE TOWARDS THE MANAGEMENT AND HOW THINGS ARE RUNNING. HE ENSURES STUDENT SUCCESS AS A SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST. MENTAL HEALTH GETS IN THE WAY OF STUDENTS LEARNING AND HE IS IN CHARGE OF TAKING CARE OF EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS FOR ALL STUDENTS. HE OVERSEES ALL STUDENTS WITH ANY EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL HEALTH. HE MAKES SURE THAT TEACHERS HAVE SOMEONE IN SCHOOLS THAT THEY CAN TRUST AND HAVE A STRONG BASE TO BUILD UPON.

  4. TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNICATION BETWEEN STUDENTS, PARENTS, TEACHERS, ETC IS THE NUMBER ONE THING THAT TEACHERS SHOULD FOCUS ON. COMMUNICATION SKILLS TEACHERS SHOULD NOT HAVE THE MINDSET OF HAVING TO ONLY COMMUNICATE WHEN SOMETHING IS DONE WRONG BUT INSTEAD COMMUNCATE REGULARLY. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CONNECTIONS EVEN WITH PARENTS THAT YOU MAY HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING A HOLD OF OR THAT THEY DO NOT WANT TO BE INVOLVED. mage result for COMMUNICATION YOU HAVE TO MAKE DEPOSITS BEFORE YOU MAKE WITHDRAWALS THE TEACHER MUST HAVE OPEN COMMUNICATION BEFORE CALLING FOR NEGATIVITY.

HOW TO HANDLE CONFIDENTIALITY- CONFIDENTIALITY PROCEDURES- BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH MAKE SURE THE PERSON HAS THE RIGHT OR THE NEED TO KNOW. JUST BECAUSE YOU WORK IN THE SCHOOL DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE ON A NEED TO KNOW BASIS.

  6. PROGRAMS AND SERVICES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS IN NASHUA- NEW TEACHERS IN NASHUA ALL ARE ASSIGNED TO A COHORT TO MEET WITH A MASTERY TRAINER/ TEACHER TO GET SUPPORT AND ASK QUESTIONS. SETTING IS OUTSIDE OF BUILDING SO IT OFFERS SUPPORT OUTSIDE OF THE SCHOOL COLLEAGUES PLC- PART OF ITS OWN PLC AS THE THREE DIFFERENT SCHOOLS, BUT EACH GRADE HAD THEIR OWN PLC. AS A PRINCIPLE HE WORKED WITH THE MUSIC AND ART TEACHERS. FOMULATIC BEFORE BECOMING FLUID. HADN'T WORKED IN A PLC SINCE THIS PAST YEAR.
