Strengthening Community-Based Fisheries Management in the Pacific
This project aims to scale up Community-Based Fisheries Management (CBFM) to self-sustaining national programs in Kiribati, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu. The initiative focuses on thematic work packages including community fisheries monitoring, understanding the impact of fish in Pacific diets, and nutrition. It also emphasizes Gender Equality, Diversity, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) and capacity development. Policy coherence and continuity are maintained across regional, national, subnational, and community levels to support the regional scaling of CBFM.
