Memantapkan Memantapkan Topik Topik menjadi menjadi PICOT PICOT Topik kejadian umum; kejadian di suatu tempat. Topik yg ideal menarik, bermanfaat, sesuai dengan bidang ilmu/ karir/ keahlian yg ingin dikembangkan. Contoh: o Penatalaksanaan T2DM di Provinsi JaTeng selama pandemi Covid 19. o Kesehatan gigi dan mulut bumil yang mengunjungi Klinik KIA Puskesmas di Kota Surakarta. o Stunting di Indonesia (Prevalensi 24.4% tahun 2021).
Kerangka Konsep & hipotesis2 penelitian ada di akhir Bab II Proposal disertasi PICOT di PICOT di Kerangka Konsep Kerangka Konsep = hubungan korelasi = hubungan kausasi Mediator (Landasan Teori) Outcome (Kriterion) Intervensi (Prediktor) Moderator (Si-Kon) F1 F2 F3 UA dapat diketahui dari redaksi konstruk2. Misalnya, I=kesehatan gigi & mulut bumil; O=PB dan BB bayi yg dilahirkannya; C=pola hidup, status sosek, usia bumil; T=disfungsi endotel plasenta V1 V2 F = Faktor = Dimensi V = variabel atau item
Spesifikasi PICOT: P: Tingkat agregasi unit pengamatan (UP)? Penelitian Populasi atau Penelitian Sampel? I dan O: hubungan korelasi atau kausasi (pertimbangan Bradford Hill dipenuhi)? Definisi operasional I dan O? C: cara Control variabel2 Moderator (dengan kriteria inklusi, pembentukkan kelompok kontrol, randomisasi, pre-testing, matching, stratifikasi)? Si-Kon UA yang memoderasi hubungan I-O? T: konsepsi/persepsi tentang hubungan I-O dan konstruk2 I, O, mediator dan moderator2.
