  2. Concepts of stress Stress is the reactions of body change that requires an adjustment or response. The body reacts with physical, mental and emotional response. Stress is our body s response to pressure from a situation or life event. Body is stimulated to produce the stress hormones.

  3. Cause of stress Financial Work load Personal relationship Parenting Daily life and busyness Lack of resources Lack of coping mechanism Outcome of a situation Facing big change Personal(illness, injury, complicated event) Friends and family Occupation Housing Unrealistic expectation

  4. Affect on health Stress can lead to a condition called distress a negative stress reaction Distress can disturb the body s internal balance or equilibrium. Leading to physical symptom such as headaches, upset stomach, blood pressure, chest pain, sexual dysfunctions, depression, panic attacks, anxiety etc. Emotional problem can also result from distress.

  5. Types of Stress management Acute stress(short term stress) Acute stress is usually for short time that due to work pressure, miner accident, over exertion, misplaced something. Chronic stress Most serious such as due to poverty, broken family, illness, failure in life, any sad full, Memory. External Internal Nagative(mental,physical,spiritual health) Positive(motivation,awareness,stimulation)

Relief from stress Visualize and communicate vision Laughing Aware to choices Be thankful Listen to music General awareness Coping mechanism Positive thinking Change your behavior Time management Change your life style Healthy diet Yoga Social healing and invironmental modification Consult expert
