  1. MY DIGITAL PORTFOLIO ASSIGNMENT 4 Lukas Kozljan

  2. The project: Grade 9 Math "Vacation Planning" A PROJECT, AN ACTIVITY & EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY THAT I'M MOST PROUD OF!. The activity: Acting in the Drama class play "Curious Case of Hammerlock Academy" The extracurricular activity: Learning a new song on the drums

  3. - I selected my math vacation project because, I felt really well on my skills to plan my own vacation. Also the way I could find different websites to go somewhere. WHY DID I SELECT THIS ASSIGNMENT - I chose my extracurricular activity to be drum lessons because, the day I learned to play a new song I was happy because I knew I would have that skill forever. - I chose the play I did in drama because I had to learn timings and how to act as a different character. Also I had to memorize a bunch of lines in the play, so I knew when mine were coming. I also thought I did pretty well on how I performed personally.

  4. - The vacation project represented my growth on how I can plan things like that in the future for me or for someone else. Also the project had to have a minimum budget of $3000 total to work with. HOW DOES IT REPRESENT MY GROWTH - Me learning a new song on the drums represents how I can remember certain sounds and keep a rythem to it. Also the way I sometimes play is by using the sound and not the notes to play a song. - The play in drama represents my growth on how I was able to peform on stage in front of a bunch of people. Speaking in front of a crowd is hard for me, so being able to stand infront to people for a play was an improvement. Memorising lines was also a challenge because I had to know when mine were coming.

  5. - A challenge for the math project was how at first, I didn't know how to research the places and to do all the planning. Also for the calculating part that was hard to do. Also there was a challenge when we only had a spacific amount. WHAT WERE SOME CHALLENGES - A challenge for the play was how we had a month to complete a whole play. Also at the ending of the time we had, it was almost like everyone had learned it overnight. - A challenge for me on the song I was learning in drums was how I needed to practice at home meanwhile I haven't fully learned it through yet, and that was difficult because I didn't know what to practice.

  6. - My goals for the future that revolve around the math project are, for anyone who ask's me to book a trip for them, I want to be able to do it quickly and efficiently. Also for the project me and my partner chose alaska, I think we could have chosen someplace else for the same price. WHAT ARE MY GOALS - A goal for me next time I do a play in the future would be my stage fright and how I was a little nervous for performing in front of a large audience, also it was fun to perform the play with just class mates and until you have an audience it got worse for me. - My goal in learning how to play a song would be on learning how to concentrate on learning the song in class and remembering how to play certain parts at home on my own. Also with me doing it at home makes for less time relearning it in class.
