How to adapt? The [Faculty Senate] Committee shall be concerned with standards for admission, retention and graduation from the University and policies pertaining to student affairs. ASSA SERTS Admissions, Standards and Student Affairs Student Engagement, Retention & Transition Success Focus is faculty support, representation and advisement on student success issues (SSSC, Starfish, etc.) Engagement not just HIEE but student community development, student presence on campus, developing connections to institution Retention advisement, PPM 6-5, assistance with advisement plans and software implementation, success resources on campus (i.e. tutoring), scholarship programs Transition HS to college to alumni transitions, interface with Career Services, interface with Development Maintains most of current functionality minus retention Policy and procedure generation, revision and review Student Senate on PPM 6-22 Admissions, Financial Aid, and Registrar related PPM (sections 4 & 6, possibly more?) Old policy revision/update Oversight of student affairs related issues such as review of complaint procedure, AA/EO consulting, dual-listed curricula, etc.
