Timelines Student Module Selection opens for all: Yet to enrol (XE) Uncertain progression (ie students in LSA) (XU) Pre-enrolled (PE) Enrolled students (E / ET) 3 September 2020 Departmental Student Module Approvals, Amendments and Reports opens 3 September 2020 Deadline for Student Module Selection 16 October 2020 Deadline for departments to confirm module selections for the year ahead 30 October 2020 Departmental Student Module Amend remains open 18 December 2020 Deadline for departments to change term two onwards modules 18 December 2020

Student Module Selection (Students) Three Types of Module Registration Student: 1) Students who have one or more optional/elective module to choose: Emailed with link to Portico to select Once selections are approved, students can request an amendment to a selection via Portico If rejected from a selection, can choose a re-selection via Portico 2) Students who are on all compulsory / non-condonable compulsory programmes: Emailed that they can log onto Portico to view their modules 3) Students who are excluded from module registration (mostly Slade and MBBS) Emailed that they can log onto Portico to view their modules Who is emailed? All yet to enrol, enrolled, pre-enrolled, uncertain progression (due to LSA) students On Portico, all students asked to confirm: Student s intentions for study (either face-to-face or remote) Their location (country and time zone) Students will be able to change their preference in My Programmes on Portico

Student Module Selection (Students) Booking System ID (First Year New Students Enrolling for the First Time Only) Student intending to study face to face on campus After Module Registration (MR) is complete A separate email with the link to the booking system for those students who are excluded from MR

Student Module Selection (Departments) Student Module Selections Approvals The task has been amended so that it shows the type of selection (ie re-selection or a request to amend a selection) Can close a module to registrations Departmental Student Module Amendment The task has been amended so colleagues will be asked whether they want to grant approvals or not Selections which have been deleted / rejected can be re-added The current confirmed module registrations and expected class size has been incorporated Reports Enhancements Intentions for study and locations in Detailed by Student Selection report Requests for amendments to selections including reason You Must run Summary by Student report by mid-October to ensure correct credit volume / FHEQ amount

Location (from 17 Aug) and How I intend to Study (from 3 Sept) will be visible 17 Aug One Day Delay Tableau Module Registration Dashboard Module registration trends over time View aggregation of which students select a department s modules and which modules a department s students are selecting. 3 Sep One Day Delay Portico Faculties Enrolment Report (daily) High level enrolment figures (by status) across all departments/faculties Student records (names/emails)can be viewed and exported Location and How I intend to Study will be visible 3 Sep One Day Delay Portico Enrolment & Module Registration Dashboard Search by faculty/department. Aggregate numbers for new and returning student enrolments From 3 Sept - module registration status and department approvals status. 17 Aug Real-time

Can see forecasts of enrolments by module. View in Portico with option to download 3 Sep Real-time Portico ModuleRegistration: Summary by Student Summary information by student to check students are selecting appropriate amounts of credits or make sure their approvals have been completed. One row per student (but not student module level) View in Portico with option to download 3 Sep Real-time Portico ModuleRegistration: Detailed by StudentSelection Detailed information by module or student. Overall status of approvals/rejections on a student level. Use for approvals and CMIS group assignment(need to check with Estates) Will include the How I intend to Study and relevant related fields will be visible 3 Sep Real-time Portico ModuleRegistration - Approval by Programme Summary of students on a module per programme and route of study View in Portico with option to download 3 Sep Real-time

These reports have not been updated to include the Location and How I intend to Study questions. 17 Aug Real-time Portico > My Portico> Student information Module Registration Lists Produce a report showing confirmed and provisional registrations for a given module. Lists with and without pictures
