Industrial strategy for a sustainable world Working definition: Any type of intervention or policy that attempts to improve the business environment or alter the structure of economic activity toward sectors, technologies and/or tasks that is expected to offer better prospects for putting the world on a sustainable footing than would occur in the absence of such interventions.
