  1. LESSON PLAN TOPIC: WHAT IS LONG , WHAT IS ROUND? CLASS II SUBJECT - MATHS

  2. What Rolls,What Slides? ROLL : To move by turning over and over, to make something move in the way. SLIDE : To move or make something move smoothly along a surface. Objective- To determine how a figure was moved To draw the resulting figure after a move A slide occurs when a figure is moved in a straight path. It could move horizontally. (Move the book horizontally.) Or vertically. (Move the book vertically.) Or diagonally. (Move the book diagonally.) Each time, the figure moves in a straight path. A roll occurs when a figure is moved round and round

  5. Slide Movement of figure in one direction. Animations - skier

  6. SLIDING AND ROLLING The boy is sliding The ball is rolling These objects can both roll and slide

  7. CARDINAL & ORDINAL NUMBER CARDINAL NUMBER ORDINAL NUMBER A cardinal number is a number that says how many of something there are or they are the number denoting quantity. Such as 1 , 2, 3 ,etc A ordinal number is a number that defines the position of something in a series. Such as first , second, third , etc
