NAAC ACCREDITATION: IIQA Submission What is Institutional Information for Quality Assessment (IIQA)? IIQA is a process which ascertains whether an institution is accreditation ready" or not. Eligible HEIs seeking A&A are required to submit Institutional Information for Quality Assessment (IIQA) online. NAAC will communicate to the HEI s about the acceptance/rejection within 10 days from the date of receipt of IIQA application. Before RAF it was in the form of letter of intent
Preparation to submit IIQA The probability of IIQA acceptance increases and depends on how well documentation process. Before begin the process of IIQA following documents/information are to be kept ready in pdf format having file size less than 5 MB 1. Date of establishment 2. Affiliation letter (Current year) in case of affiliating college and UGC approval letter in case of University. If current year affiliation letter is not available then communication regarding university is to be uploaded. you accomplished this to affiliating
3. If any of the program of HEI requires Statutory Regulatory AICTE,MCI, BCI, DCI, NCI, PCI etc.), recent approval letters would be to be uploaded. 4. If HEI has recognition under section 2f, 12B of UGC (If yes) , Date of recognition to be mentioned and Document to be uploaded 5. Document as proof of Autonomous institution (if any) Authority (Viz.

IIQA submission Process Flow Chart Open www.naac.gov.in and go to apply online button Login to HEI Portal with Login ID and Password provided to you after successful completion of online registration process (Explained in module 2) Go to Manage IIQA link on left side of screen
Go to Prepare IIQA link This process of IIQA registration requires information on 5 Major Elements (Basic Eligibility, application compliance, profile information, academic information, details of staff, Quality information ) 1. Basic Eligibility Afresh/Reassessment, Cycle (1, 2,3, etc), Name of Institution Appears as filled in registration process, City, State,
Date of Establishment ( indicates eligibility criteria 6 years of establishment or 2 batches of graduation passed) Details (Year) of first and second graduation batch to be filled After this click next on right bottom Message appears the basic eligibility successfully entered. It means the institute qualified basic eligibility of 6 years/2 graduation batches.
2. Application Compliance In this section the details like affiliated college/ is a University to be checked If affiliated with University, HEI has to upload the affiliating letters of current year. Important: If HEI is affiliated to more than one university then all affiliation letters are to be uploaded (this would be done by clicking add button) Two important points: 1: The name of Institution should be same on affiliating letter of university;, 2: The affiliation should be current year affiliation (current year affiliation letters are to be uploaded)
If any program of HEI require approval of Statutory Regulatory Authority (SRA), the letters of current approval to be uploaded (SRAs are: AICTE, BCI, DCI, MCI, PCI etc.) After uploading click on save and next you would reach to next segment 3. Profile Information Data required for this section: Head of Institute Details, Name, Designation, Address, PIN code, contact details, Alternate faculty details (viz In charge of accreditation/IQAC in charge or coordinator/other)
Website details (mandatory, without it IIQA would not qualify) Nature of Institute (Government, Private, Grant in aid, Self financing, Constituent institute) 2f, 12B of UGC (If yes) Date of recognition to be mentioned and Document to be uploaded Autonomous Institution (Date of Autonomous status) College with Potential of Excellence College of Excellence
Date of uploading data of AISHE on MHRD Website (Latest details) AISHE Certificate and Date Certification from HOI regarding compliance to all rules and regulations in Prescribed format Download from ) Statutory declaration on institution website under section 4 (1) (b) of RTI Act 2005 (if yes, link of website to be entered here) Does institute have statutory cells and committees?
(Committee for SC/ST, Minority Cell, Grievance redressal committee, Internal discipline committee, Antiragging committee, OBC cell) Mention the functional ones here Save and Proceed 4.Academic Information (Number of Programs and details of programs) For Diploma and certificate program only number need to be filled, no details required at this point of time Details of UG/PG program (Details of Department/Program/University, SRA, and Affiliation Status Temporary/Permanent)
Upload the declaration by Head of Institute about current year information in NAAC format (Download format) The list displaying here must be matching with numbers of programs that added in this section before Number of Permanent Teaching Staff (Male, Female, Transgender, Total) Number of other teaching staff (Male, Female, Transgender, Total) Number of Non-teaching staff (Male, Female, Transgender, Total)
Details of Students Number of regular face to face students (Male, Female, Transgender, Total) (Number of regular face to face students means students perusing different programs in institute as on date) Does the college have an academic MOU with any foreign institution? (If yes, upload document) Save and Next
5. Quality Information Date of IQAC establishment After saving details Proceeds to Payment details (25000/- +Taxes 4500) Make payment, if payment successful you would be redirected to portal Where you can preview the details of IIQA you filled, check and then submit IIQA Message Displayed IIQA successfully submitted
Now NAAC would process IIQA and would intimate institution on registered mail id that given by institute. Process of NAAC IIQA approval depends upon the quality of documentation and adequacy of supporting data uploaded. In case of any ambiguity NAAC office may seek some clarification which would be shown on portal only and are to be submitted within 15 days. Henceforth after submission of IIQA application institute must regularly see the portal. Few Points that needs to be make clear that the total number of faculty, students, and programs would remain same till filling of Self Study Report (SSR). Henceforth, the details are to be carefully filled.
