Provider Order Options- Future State A patient presents to the ED with the concern of Suicide, Homicide, or Drug Overdose. There are 2 options to ensure the correct Patient Safety Bundle is in place: Option #1:Order Set Option #2: Triage Panel 2 The provider can choose either the order set or the panel, the Patient Safety Bundle is identical.
Patient Safety Both the panel and order set options contain an optimized Patient Safety section to align with SLHS Policy, PC-221 3
Suicide/Homicide or Drug Overdose Triage Panel Can be found in the Quick List Has been renamed from: Psychiatric Emergency Triage Panel 5
New- Individual Orderable Removal Suicide Precautions is removed as an option to order outside of the order set and triage panel 7
1:1 Observation Orderable Changes 1:1 Observation single orderable will be divided into 3 separate orders to easily identify the indication The BPA below will fire when a single orderable for 1:1 Observation- Suicidal/Homicidal Ideation is placed. 8
