  2. Prevention/Early Intervention WA Suicide Prevention Framework 2021-2025 (MHC) Aboriginal Community Led Responses Support/Aftercare Postvention

  3. Establishing and Supporting Partnerships & Networks Public Awareness Suicide Prevention Coordinators Community led partnerships and Initiatives Education/Training

  4. One SPC and one Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer in each WA Health region around the State (20 total) Highest rate of suicide is in the Metro area Three Metro SPC s based in Perth at Neami National North, South & East Metro regions Metro CLO s are based at Moordij Koort and Derbarl Yerrigan We work together across the four streams of the Framework to build community capacity to prevent and respond to suicide Not an intervention (emergency or counselling) service Do link closely with local networks, resources and referral services State-wide SPC/CLO Roles

Over the next 12 months will be collaborating with FCAWA to look at systemic support for your networks, members and staff How to respond to risk and loss by suicide Governance around safe practice Localised referral info and resources for clients and self care Look forward to your input Neami Program Suicide Safe Systems FCAWA Partnership
