  2. OBJECTIVE TWO: DEVELOP PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THAT ARE RESPONSIVE TO IDENTIFIED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE NEEDS

  3. CADRE PRODUCTS & SERVICES: QUALITY, RELEVANCE, USEFULNESS Parent center representatives reporting products and services are useful. (Goal: 75%) Advisory Board members that judge CADRE activities as high quality. (Goal: 90%) 100% 100% Symposium participants that rate the event relevant as high quality six months later. CADRE CONTACTS ONE MONTH AFTER THE PROVISION OF CADRE TA, 85% OF USERS WILL REPORT THAT THE ASSISTANCE THEY RECEIVED WAS OF HIGH QUALITY, RELEVANCE, AND USEFULNESS. 265 That s how many contact requests CADRE had last year!   7. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVENT FOR HEARING OFFICERS JANUARY 2023 142 IDEA Hearing Officers from 40 states registered for this free, virtual event. Sessions included: IDEA Case Review, Due Process Hearings: The Art of Identifying and Managing Areas of Potential Dissension and Opportunity, Interpreting Psychoeducational Evaluation Results, Due Process Hearing Management: Suggestions from a Recovering ALJ, Writing Durable Decisions, Professional Ethics. Quality 100% Participants thought the event was high quality. Relevance 100% Participants thought the event was relevant. 100 Usefulness 80 98% Participants thought the event was useful. 60 40 The presentations are well put together and engaging.   8. OBJECTIVE FOUR: EXPAND ACCESS TO EFFECTIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION PRACTICES & PROCEDURES BY PROVIDING UNIVERSAL TA TO THE BROADEST AUDIENCE POSSIBLE

  10. OBJECTIVE FIVE: IMPROVE DR SYSTEMS BY PROVIDING TARGETED, SPECIALIZED TA TO SEAS, LAS, AND OSEP-FUNDED PARENT CENTERS

RESULTS OF TARGETED TA: PARENT CENTER & SEA DR LEARNING COMMUNITIES, WEBINARS, JOBS-A-LIKE LISTSERVS Listservs SEA/LA/PC representatives that engaged in CADRE targeted TA reported improved collaboration between educators, service providers, and parents. (Goal: 75%) 53 98% New queries submitted by subscribers to CADRE s listservs. (Goal: 30) CADRE has opened me up to a world of options with relation to engagement amongst stakeholders. The data-based information provided by CADRE staff, as well as personnel across the country has been invaluable. SEA/LA/PC representatives that engaged in CADRE targeted TA reported they have improved their capacity to provide TA to their target populations on DR options. (Goal: 75%) The ideas and collaborative approach that CADRE uses helps us support families as they go through the special education process, and especially as they access dispute resolution options in our state. 99%

CADRES 9TH NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM A total of 276 individuals participated in the Symposium. 145 individuals responded to the web-based survey immediately following the event, resulting in a 53% response rate. Six months following each Symposium 75% of participants will report that they ve used products from the symposium and/or are incorporating strategies from the symposium into their practice. (n=70) Relevance Objectives 95% strongly agreed that the Symposium was relevant. Over 90% agreed or strongly agreed that all 5 objectives were met. 47% very much so 29% mostly 22% somewhat Quality Usefulness 95% strongly agreed that the Symposium was high quality. 93% strongly agreed that the Symposium was useful. Attending the Symposium amplified my knowledge about dispute resolution process. It was also very interesting to learn about different ways things are done in other states.

  13. OBJECTIVE SIX: IMPROVE DR SYSTEMS BY PROVIDING INTENSIVE, SUSTAINED TA TO SEAS, LAS, AND/OR OSEP-FUNDED PARENT CENTERS

  14. RESULTS OF INTENSIVE TA 7 States participated in the Written State Complaints (WSC) Intensive TA Workgroup. Five states responded to the survey. EXTENT STATES MADE PROGRESS ON SELF- IDENTIFIED SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT EFFORTS (Goal: 57%): ALL STATES INCREASED THEIR CAPACITY TO IMPROVE THEIR WSC SYSTEM AS A RESULT OF: 80% 20% PEER-TO-PEER NETWORKING (Goal: 86%) There is such an opportunity to increase capacity in having conversations with such knowledgeable people in the group. some progress significant progress We hope to continue making systemic improvements to our complaint process. We are currently working to revise our initial correspondence to parties and finalizing a document for districts to use when responding to a state complaint.. 60% very much so 40% mostly EXTENT STATES IN WORKGROUP MADE IMPROVEMENTS ON SELF-IDENTIFIED TARGETS (Goal: 57%): CADRE ASSISTANCE (Goal: 86%) 40% very much so We benefitted the most from receiving feedback from CADRE and hearing feedback from other states on how they handle certain issues. 60% 40% some change evident No change evident 40% mostly 10% somewhat Significant growth and reflection on past practices to ensure we were moving in the right direction. CADRE has amazing resources that we used to support the alternative resolution process and communication with stakeholders. It has been so wonderful to work with this group. I feel so fortunate.
