What What is HEALS? is HEALS? We convene health advocates, budgetary experts, and governance- and human rights-monitoring groups in collaboration to improve advocacy for domestic resource mobilization (DRM) in implementing countries. November 2021 Initial HEALS meetings held in Kenya March 2022 Initial HEALS meetings to be held in Vietnam May 2022 In-person or virtual joint learning convenings by Friends in the U.S., with planned advocacy to U.S. policymakers for Replenishment Thereafter Toolkit, webpage or report on best practices & success stories in DRM advocacy Hopefully: additional African and Asian nations join (seeking additive funding)
