Modest Humour/happy As an organisation we take a very holistic approach. Type Approach Followed by comments on our Whole Family Approach & focus. Support network Informative It is a Whole Family Support charity. the families are the main focus. Friendly/Welcoming Knowledge sharing Closely followed by comments relating to geographical location of services and the longevity of the organisation. Comments from parent groups Comments from parent groups Group 1: You don t feel on your own anymore you ve got someone who is there for you Feel like you are part of something the Circle gets bigger, like a family makes you feel like you are someone that matters. It s not just a job for staff they go out of their way to help when you need it not just 9-5 They are not strict all the time, you can have a laugh but know when to get serious. It s more interactive They give more options to chat in groups like zoom groups and stuff They give you a chance to be heard and they listen Support for dads we are not forgotten Circle made me feel safe and trusted to share my experience and open up to accept help...unlike previous help

  4. Comments from parent groups Comments from parent groups Group 2: Other services can leave you in the background and abandon you. Other services weren t there for you like Circle. It was just a job for them. You could tell sometimes that they didn t even like it. Circle keep in touch, every week. They find a way to keep in touch. Through lockdown this was amazing. Circle just know what you need. Multiple different services all tailored to individuals it is inclusive of the whole family. Circle always give you options. The support that you get from other supported people is something I have never had before it s like the ripple effect of Circle this is so important.

She s done so much and stuck by me and understood me when no one else could or would. Graham and Mark (Fathers group) Like a laugh not too serious all of the time Good Listener that acts on things Able to adapt to all of the things they hear from different people with different issues Genuine Easy to engage with Help you to achieve get the best from you Solution focussed Support the whole family they are not just here for me Circle demonstrates this, they involve everyone in your family in activities. There is always a focus on what is best for your kids. Friendly not just a worker, they are always there for you this makes you open up more it s like companionship Keep in touch even when you are not supported any more Make you stronger, even though I miss the groups, meet-ups and the chats

Like a friend that is there for you and tell you as it is Someone with you in your corner Someone who will help you to level things like in meetings where people are above you. They are grounded not above you. Have life experience. They enable you to do things yourself, not try to fix things for you.

Honest and genuine Confident Patient Hard-working Unique Dedicated Have passion for what they do. Professional but can have a laugh. Energy bring out the positive vibe in people. Approachable They care. Be part of a family who are in your life. Allow you to be what you know you are and help you to build on it.

Essence Strengthen families There were 33 separate essence statements that could be broken down into 6 main categories (pictured opposite) Provide hope and choice Although strengthening families featured highly (as is our current tagline/essence) There was strong representation for the supporting and nurturing of family development. Nurture and support development of families Create healthy, sustainable opportunities we don t always 'do things' for people we encourage and support people to do things for themselves. It needs more energy Needs to be fun but serious I like the DARED strapline it tells you exactly what it is (Do A Run Every Day) Feel like we are not just supported, we are involved in the Circle family It s like Support and more Colours of life Betterness instead of Bitterness The Circle of Life Connecting through Care It makes me want to pay it forward I take the stuff I learn here and help to support other people.
