UNITED WE FIGHT UNITED WE WIN LIVE UNITED United Way Partners with the Mustard Seed of Central Florida to provide sterilized and rebuilt furniture for families without home furnishings. 1. United Way performs a site visit and needs assessment. 2. If the family qualifies, the family pays $150 for one room or a whole house of furniture. 3. The family must provide transportation and movers. 4. If the family cannot pay the fee of $150, United Way will make up the difference.
UNITED WE FIGHT UNITED WE WIN LIVE UNITED Homelessness Prevention Rent & Utility Assistance Catholic Charities, Leesburg Christian Care Center, Leesburg Lake Community Action Agency, Eustis & Leesburg Lake County Dept of Housing Reach Program (rent & utility deposits) Lake County Elder Affairs Mid-Florida Community Services New Beginnings of Central Florida, Clermont Outward Sign (Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Clermont) St. Timothy s Catholic Church, The Villages St. Vincent de Paul (St Mary s Catholic Church, Eustis) Salvation Army, Leesburg United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties (TANF ($9500), Publix ($30K), et al funders) United Way assisted 1029 families in 2018.
