The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: Removing something harmful from the road is sadaqa (an act of charity).
Abu Lahab ( the father of flame) has failed and lost. He will not benefit from his wealth and property on the Day of Judgment because he insulted the Prophet, peace be upon him, and did not believe him. He will be tortured in Hell with his wife, who used to put thorns in the way of the Prophet, peace be upon him. On the Day of Judgment, a thick rope of the fire will be placed round her neck.
