  5. KEY MATTERS FROM PRESENTERS PRESENTER BROAD THEMES Key reflections on Covid 19.climate change and economic disruptions. The presenter suggested the following focus areas: sustainable Housing(new building technology), social mobilization(coproduction model),Transport(minibus compact),cooperative governance(metros to work together). Ability to generate energy within Metros EDGAR PIETERSE Key reflections on the political disruption without a single agenda to benefit communities served RALPH MATHEKGA Challenges with coalition governance that has different views on the long term and short term gains. Coalitions must have agreements to manage outcomes and expectations both short and long term PROF MCEBISI NDLETYANA Mainly focused on public private partnerships to assist in dealing with skills ,risks and financial capability. Presenter suggested a few PPP models that could be explored in the long term such as management contract, concessions ,first loss capital and made an example of traffic lights management using data from cameras in the city with artificial intelligence technology.
