TALON
TALON Advising and Retention program at Georgia State University focuses on three key functions: Advising, Early Alert, and Curricular Mapping. The program involves mandatory advising for first-year students, technology-driven student issue tracking, and degree audit processes. It aims to enhance student retention and academic success by providing targeted support and guidance throughout their academic journey. Through a combination of faculty and technology intervention, the program strives to create a supportive and proactive environment for students to excel in their studies.
