Principal Survey Principals assess how well EPP prepared teacher. Collection via online link http://www.doe.in.gov/licensing/principal-survey Access code required Survey Resources at http://www.doe.in.gov/licensing/principal-survey- resources Teacher Survey - Teachers assess preparation received from EPP. Collection within LVIS Completion required in order to renew license
Principal and Survey Data - Provide data for CAEP visits/accreditation CAEP does NOT require correlation study or approval for survey data Incorporated within the matrix Collected from February 1 August 1 annually Data provided annually (November 1, 2016 and by September 1 thereafter)

HEA 1388 Data Collection September 9, 16, 23, 30 Reminders sent to field October 1 All documents collected from EPPs October 1 11 Verification of data, sorting of data October 11 Return spreadsheets to EPPs for EPP verification October 13 Spreadsheets due back to IDOE by 5:00 pm October 13-14 Finalize draft matrix October 17 Return the draft matrix to EPPs for review October 19 Any corrections due to IDOE by 5:00 pm October 20-21 Posting of matrix October 24-27 Completion of summary sheets October 28 EPP summary sheets sent

Signed into Federal law on December 10, 2015 Reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), replaces the No Child Left Behind Act o ESEA was signed into law in 1965 to ensure educational opportunity for every child and provide support for schools o Main federal law governing public education o Reauthorized in different versions: No Child Left Behind (2001) Every Student Succeeds Act (2015) ESSA federal requirements for: o Policy: Standards, Assessments, and Accountability o Programs: Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV Full implementation of ESSA in the 2017-2018 school year o Rule-making and guidance process Requires with stakeholder involvement development of a state plan for policy and program implementation
