  3. So in which Area of Learning do we belong. or

  4. My school decided on.. Started in September 2020 with Year 7 Joined a rotation with PE Pupils have 16 lessons of Food in their Health & Well-being lessons All Year 7 pupils will be taught in the academic year

  5. My school decided on.. Lessons are a mix of practical and theory Opportunity to teach local and national issues Pupils will hopefully see a greater link between Food & Nutrition and Exercise & Physical Well-being COVID has interrupted this year. Online learning has focussed on well-being

  6. Concerns? Timetabling enough teachers and rooms? Less specialist food teachers required at KS3? Different schools approaching it differently Finding a balance Health & Well-being in KS3, specific Food qualifications at KS4 Many pupils miss out on Food lessons in KS4

  7. The future? We all now have the capability of teaching online! Hopefully, more importance placed on Food & Well-being in schools Food GCSE Qualifications will remain stand alone
